Embraer 190

Embraer E190

The Embraer E-Jet family is a series of narrow-body medium-range twin-engine jet airliners. The aircraft is used by both mainline and regional airlines around the world with over 1000 of them flying with many more orders being made, a huge success since it was only launched at the Paris Air Show in 1999, and entering production in 2002.

The first flight was done on 17th March 2004 with LOT Polish Airlines, with an average cost of about £40 million per aircraft. It has been a great success due to its size to cater for short regional routes and passenger flying as well as an attractive Business Jet market as well.
