Here at Jet Simulation we have a wealth of experience in helping fellow pilots prepare for interviews and LPC’s/ OPC’s or even to just keep their skills sharp.

We have a vast database of both HR and technical questions and also a variety of flight profiles that have been used in various companies for simulator assessments. You can choose any of our packages for simulator training or you can combine it with our very own in-house interview preparation course. Our interview preparation course has been specifically designed to give you feedback on a mock interview and will be conducted as if it were a real one. We will go through an HR interview with how to respond to those impossible-to-answer questions and what you can do to prepare yourself. The course will be conducted with our in-house Executive Career Coach, Fiona Langdon, and will go through everything in detail from personal presentation, body language and confidence building techniques to help you show that you are the right person for an airline and why they should choose you to join their team.

You will get verbal feedback on your performance with tips on how to improve and a written report at the end. We will also record the entire mock interview for you to take home and study along with the feedback. Once you have completed the HR interview, we will then go through some basic technical questions with a pilot in order to assess the depth of your knowledge and point out areas that need to be worked on. We have a vast database of technical questions from various airlines that will allow us to assist you in preparing as best you can for your interview. Typically we will spend 60 minutes on the HR interview including giving verbal feedback and 60 minutes on the technical interview including a question and answer session at the end, to go through any questions you may have of the whole process.

Fiona is a professionally qualified Executive Career Coach with a Diploma in Business and Executive Coaching.  She gained her Diploma through Elliot Griffiths, which is accredited by the EMCC and EASC.  The course is also endorsed as an advanced award by the ILM.

Fiona has many years experience within the recruitment industry, including working within the aviation sector.  She has worked closely with Human Resources, through to Managing Directors and Chief Executive Officers of both small and large companies.  Fiona has an in-depth understanding of how individuals can package themselves, so that they can “sell” themselves to prospective employers. 

With a background in sales and management, Fiona also has a great understanding of how clients tick and what they are really looking for from an employee.  Combining this with her coaching expertise, Fiona has the knowledge to coach people, giving them the ability to become confident go-getters.
